Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker BYD has launched its Atto 3 model in the UK, marking its entry into the market. The crossover EV is equipped with BYD’s own Blade Battery and a range of up to 261 miles.
The competition to dominate the European electric vehicle market is heating up, according to driving.co.uk, and China-based companies are making significant strides in the race. BYD is among the leading players, along with other competitors such as Aiways, Great Wall Motors, Li Auto and Nio.

Stratstone, one of the UK’s largest premium motor car retailers, with 46 franchise points nationwide, has been confirmed as the UK’s top launch partner for BYD Build Your Dreams, as they release their latest ATTO 3 model.
Stratstone opened two BYD sites in Birmingham and Milton Keynes in March 2023 offering the latest in EV technology to the UK market. Stratstone BYD Mayfair is set to follow shortly with five more sites to follow later this year.

The BYD Atto 3 in the UK has a four-year/70,000-mile warranty, which is extended to eight years and 90,000 miles for the electric motor and control unit, and eight years/120,000 miles for the battery.
